CoMA West Midlands

Are you an instrumentalist based in the West Midlands? Interested in exploring some new music written by living composers, and meeting local musicians? Come join us for a fun & playful days of music-making, hosted at the University of Birmingham (UoB)!

Contemporary Music for All (CoMA) West Midlands is a brand new ensemble which launched in the CoMA Festival March 2024.
Building on two successful ‘Come&Play’ days earlier this year, we’re excited to present the second in a series of regular sessions hosted at the Frankland Music Hub, University of Birmingham, B15 2TT.

Next winter term dates are:

  • Sunday, 10th November – h 2pm to 5pm
  • Saturday, 7th December – h 10am to 1pm

The group is led by Musical Director Sara Caneva.

Participation fee: £7

All instruments, abilities and levels of experience welcome for eager musicians aged 16+, although a basic ability to read 5-line stave notation is required.
