StartUp Social West Midlands returns on Wednesday 13th May 2026, bringing together founders, freelancers, creatives and the wider startup community for a relaxed, free to attend networking event at The JointWorks, one of the region’s most loved co-working venues.
Following two sold out events, StartUp Social West Midlands has quickly become a fixture in the local startup calendar. It was created as a genuine alternative to the usual networking format: no awkward name badges, no forced icebreakers, no hard sell. The May event will follow the same relaxed format that made the first two so popular. Attendees can expect a warm welcome, free refreshments, and an open, friendly environment designed to make meaningful introductions easy. New for this edition, StartUp Social West Midlands is offering an optional co-working day add-on at The JointWorks for a heavily discounted rate of just £14.40. Attendees who opt in can use the venue from 08:00 to 17:00 on the day of the event, giving them the chance to work alongside fellow attendees, host meetings, or simply enjoy one of the best independent co-working spaces in the West Midlands. The add-on was introduced in response to demand from previous attendees, many of whom stayed on after the last event to continue conversations, take meetings and make use of the space. The co-working add-on can be selected at the point of booking.
