Birmingham, UK – From October 15th to November 9th, the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists (RBSA) will showcase the latest works of Birmingham-based 3D artist Stephen Farley in a solo exhibition that promises to captivate art lovers with its tactile and immersive nature. Farley’s work is celebrated for its innovative use of resin and other materials, creating pieces that invite viewers to engage with the art not only visually but also physically.
Known for his collaborations with BlindArt, a charity that supports people with sight restrictions, Farley’s art provides a multi-sensory experience. His sculptures and wall pieces encourage touch, offering a unique way for audiences to experience contemporary art. The exhibition will feature a diverse range of Farley’s pieces, from stand-alone sculptures to wall-mounted works, each reflecting organic and synthetic forms.
“Art should be felt, not just seen,” says Farley. “I want people to explore the textures and materials I use, to engage physically with the work in a way that deepens their experience of it.”
The exhibition will run from October 15th to November 9th, 2024, at RBSA. Visitors are encouraged to experience the artwork firsthand, and the exhibition is open to the public throughout its run.
