The Festival of Quilts

The Festival of Quilts returns to the NEC Birmingham from 31 July to 3 August 2025. Whether you’re a seasoned quilter, a craft enthusiast, or simply looking for an inspiring day out, this is an event you won’t want to miss.

Enjoy an incredible lineup with guest appearances from top international quilting artists (including the amazing Edyta Sitar!). Plus, incredible Textile Galleries from leading artists including Galla Grotto (France), Pat Pauly (USA), and Anitha N Reddy (India). 

Shop top-quality craft supplies from over 200 exhibitors, including big brands and small businesses! Stock up on quality patchwork and quilting supplies, fabric, thread, yarn, kits, haberdashery, sewing machines and more! The line-up includes; Higgs & Higgs, M Rosenberg & Son, Toft, Quilters’ Clinic, and so many more!

With over 370 workshops, talks, and lectures to choose from, there’s something for every level of maker. Explore a wide variety of crafts, learn new techniques, or refine your skills with guidance from expert tutors. Here’s a sneak peek at some of the incredible tutors who will be joining us from across the globe; Carolina Oneto (Brazil), Beverly Smith (USA), Sharon Nicholls-Thomson (Australia).

Also, don’t miss Europe’s largest open quilt competition! Explore quilts from around the globe across a variety of categories, including sustainable, traditional, group, contemporary, and more. Immerse yourself in the quilting world with over 1,200 quilts on display and find inspiration.
