As the leisure sector begins to reopen on July 4, thousands of businesses in Britain could be set to benefit – use our interactive graphic to see what’s open near you.
Starting this weekend, restaurants, pubs, cafes and hotels will be allowed to reopen, provided they can follow safety guidelines.
That includes ensuring all indoor hospitality is table service only, observing a minimum of one meter social distancing, and limiting contact between staff and customers.
Customers will also have to give contact details when they enter a pub or restaurant.
Exclusive figures provided by NatWest, which is supporting the #IAmOpen campaign, reveal there are an estimated 186,680 hospitality businesses operating across Britain that may now be able to open their doors.
In fact, 6% of all businesses in the country are in the hospitality industry – ranging from 5% in the East of England to 9% in the North East.

The figures show that around 2.2m people in Britain are employed in the accommodation and food services industry – although this is a broad estimate.
That works out as 8% of all employees across the country – the figure varies from 6% in places like the West Midlands and East of England, to 10% in the South West.
The sector was worth around £47.9bn to the economy in 2018 – the latest figures available – accounting for 3% of GDP that year.
The hospitality industry in London contributed the most overall, accounting for £12.4bn of the total.
NatWest’s head of retail and leisure, David Scott, said: “The UK’s restaurant and pub sectors contribute billions of pounds to the country’s economy and support a significant number of supply chains both regionally and nationally.
“Likewise, retail businesses such as hair and beauty salons that have seen exceptional growth in recent years, together with restaurants, pubs and bars play an important role in the stability of the UK high street.
“The relaxing of lockdown rules in England is an opportunity for many of these businesses to begin looking to the future again and serving the customers they work so hard for.
