Staffordshire training provider Martec is recruiting at least seven new trainers to support young people following a year of significant growth.
Newcastle-under-Lyme-based Martec provides quality education and apprenticeships to young people in Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire and is a leader in the motor industry.
Now it is recruiting for at least seven roles including two motor vehicle tutors, two teaching assistants in motor vehicles, two teaching assistants for English and Maths as well as a hospitality and catering SEND tutor and a life skills tutor.
The job drive follows a year of growth for Martec which CEO Tracey Marson puts down to the one-to-one support the company offers, as well as a nurturing environment and SEND provision.
Tracey said: “We’ve massively expanded our SEND courses and it’s been brilliant supporting so many young people as they work towards achieving the correct qualifications for their chosen career.
“The fact that we teach in a more nurturing environment with smaller class sizes is very appealing for a number of reasons. Obviously, there’s the Covid-19 factor but it’s also preferable to many people who don’t want to be in a larger learning facility. We have great connections with our students and it’s incredibly fulfilling.”
The positions available are for immediate start and Martec will put candidates through a teacher training qualification.
