Richard Neal x Victor King Wine Dinner at The Essential

Chef Victor King welcomes Chef Richard Neal for a one-night-only pop-up at The Essential. The collaborative menu will be served family-style, featuring multiple courses including radicchio and shiso-cured trout, duck confit and fettuccine alfredo with parsnip puree and mushroom glaze, choux farcis with pork shoulder and pickled onions, and for dessert, a black currant jam rice pudding. Each course comes with a suggested wine pairing, with selections including Sauvignon Blanc, Lambrusco, Riesling and a Valdespino Cream Sherry. Guests may choose individual courses or opt for the full menu with wine pairings for $60 per person. Originally from Atlanta and now Birmingham-based, Neal brings a refined approach to Southern cuisine shaped by his time at Bacchanalia before serving as chef de cuisine at Bastion in Nashville.
