HiTZ Cricket is bringing its AI-powered cricket training technology to the Black Country, with a brand-new lane opening at Stumps Indoor Sports Centre in Tividale on Thursday 29 October. To celebrate the launch, cricketers of all ages and abilities are invited to drop in between 4pm and 6pm.

Whether you play every weekend, are returning to the game after a few years away, or have never picked up a bat before, the opening is a chance to see how HiTZ is changing the way people train.

Powered by BatFast technology, HiTZ puts players in complete control of their session. There’s no need to find a bowler or book a coach. Players simply step into the lane, choose the kind of bowling they want to face and start batting. With more than one million bowling variations, including spin as well as pace, every session can be tailored to the areas of your game you want to work on.

After each session, players can track their progress through easy-to-read data, helping them see exactly how their batting is improving over time. It’s a smarter way to train, designed for anyone who wants to get better at the game, from juniors taking their first steps to experienced club cricketers looking to sharpen up before next season.

The Tividale lane is HiTZ’s second site in the West Midlands, following its Birmingham venue, which has welcomed nearly 1,000 players through its doors since opening in January. HiTZ now operates fourteen other venues across the UK and has a growing international footprint, making high-quality cricket training more accessible to communities across the country.

The opening is an ideal opportunity for local clubs, schools, families and groups of friends to come down, have a go and find out how they can use the new lane throughout the winter and beyond. Training no longer has to depend on the weather, the season or the availability of nets, so it’s the perfect way to keep your game ticking over during the colder months.

Whether you’re a parent looking for a new activity for a cricket-mad youngster, a club captain searching for winter training options, or simply curious to see the technology in action, everyone is welcome.
