Unmapped Exhibition

16 November @ 10:00 am - 19 December @ 4:00 pm
Free

Unmapped explores how imagination can transform the familiar into the unfamiliar. Tara Harris creates imagined landscapes shaped by memory, emotion and fragments of places we recognise.

Working with paint, she layers, scrapes and erases the surface, allowing forms and landscapes to emerge and dissolve. The paintings exist between remembered places and imagined worlds, inviting us to question how we see, remember and experience place.

“An evocative painter, Tara Harris conjures up otherworldly landscapes and seascapes which are lined with memories.”

— Ruth Millington, art writer and curator
